HOME INSPECTIONS:
If you are a homeowner planning to sell, or a homebuyer looking for an experienced local home inspection professional, you can be confident in your selection of Integrity Engineering, LLC. Home inspections can most often be arranged on YOUR timetable, and you are encouraged to attend the inspection. Results, in the form of a customized report with annotated photos and detailed explanations, will be available the same evening, and can be provided via e-mail for the fastest service.
Home inspections are performed following the State of New Jersey Standards of Practice, which can be found by viewing the New Jersey Home Inspection Statutes and Regulations. A thorough home inspection is performed and depending on the age, size and complexity of thehome, can take 2 -1/2 to 4-1/2 hours. Condominium inspections, where the unit is part of an Association, are less complicated in that the client may not wish to have areas of Association responsibility inpected; these are available at a reduced fee recognizing that only the interior of the unit is inspected.
Having a new home built? Consider an inspection of your home while it is being constructed. This greatly improved the chance that problems like inadequate insulation, unwanted infiltration, and substandard design or installation of a heating and air conditioning system don't get built-in to the home. Shopping for a home inspector? Be sure they are LICENSED. As of December 31, 2005, everyone performing a home inspection service in New Jersey is required by law to be licensed. This assures that you are protected as licensed home inspector must have a minimum of $500,000 in errors or ommissions insurance. There are still individuals who are offering services who either are not aware they are practicing illegally, or are attempting to skirt the law by bundling their "free" service along with another related service, so as to avoid the oversight of a law designed to protect the you, the public.
